Rachael Leigh Cook

Rachael Leigh Cook was born on 4th of October 1979 at Minneapolis, Minnesota. She graduated from the `Laurel Springs School` in the year of 1998. She was very shy as a child. She captured her first role (non speaking part) when she was only 7 years old in a public service announcement. She started modelling when she was about 10 years old. She got tremendous help from her parents and therefore could manage an agent and soon got contracted with modeling agencies and commercials. Then Rachael went on to appear for local ads in the area of Minnesota.

This helped her in appearing in more ads in national publications. Her most notable adds were for the Target Stores and the Milkbone dog biscuit.

She made her acting debut with a role in the short film `26 Summer Street`. After that she did not had to look back with her presence in more than 11 movies in just three years including `Carpool`, `Living Out Loud` and `Strike`. She once said to the Moxie Girl magazine that she wants to play every kind of roles.

Then she was oferred the role of `She`s All That`. When she heard the sript she could not stop laughing. So she wanted to act in it desperately and therefore got into the cast as the first member. Her other films include `The House of Yes`, `Hi-Line`, `The Bumblebee Flies Anyway` and the comedy of sumo wrestling `The Naked Man` written by Ethan Coen.

Her other interests include reading, drawing, writing, playing tennis and roller blading. She also enjoys shopping for clothes and black and brown are her favourite colour.

Her favourite authors include Franz Kafka, Fitzgerald and Shirley Jackson. Her favourite bands include The Who, Indigo Girls, U2 and That Dog. Her favorite TV shows are `American Gladiators`, `Fraiser` and `3rd Rock From the Sun`. She hates spiders and rollercoasters.
