Angelica Bridges

Angelica Bridges was born at Harrisonville, Missouri, USA. She spend her youth fishing, catching frogs and riding horses. She had the passion of acting right from her childhood.

When she was 3 years old she started taking dancing lessons. At nine, Bridges appeared in radio commercials and for the local Harrisonville radio station. Then she entered in the NBC`s nationwide talent search at the tender age of only 12 years. She went on to beat several contestants and grabbed an oppurtunity for a work in the future. Angelica appeared in Teen Magazine at 14 and later at 16 won the title of `Miss Missouri Teen`. After completing her high school she gave an audition for an international singing group. She captured a role as one of the singers who later performed in `The Shanghai TV Festival`. After this she went on touring with the group and performing at live concerts.

Then in 1992, Bridges won the title of `California Young Miss of America`. At a time when she was performing in a show at Universal Studios in Orlando, she was spotted by John Casablancas (founder of Elite Modeling Agency). He approached and later contracted with Angelica for a modelling deal. The next couple of years she was busy modelling for the agency. Then she was also contracted with Clairol for a two year deal. Therefore she appeared in more than a dozen magazine covers. Her other noted commercials include Diet Coke, Doritos, Toyota, Pontiac, Sony, IBM, Bally`s, Hanes, Pepsi and American Express. But her most popular and important commercial was for Brut Cologne.

Her next ambition was to make her name in the acting field. She got her first oppurtunity in `Days of Our Lives` in 1996 where she played the role of Sharon Taylor`. She has also made some guest appearances in `Cybill`, `Pacific Blue`, `NYPD Blue`, `Silk Stalkings` and `The Young & The Restless`. In `Metropolitan Hospital` she appeared in a leading role and was appreciated.

Leaving all this she enjoys swimming, playing volleyball, horseback riding and dancing.
