Brad Pitt

William Bradley Pitt was born on 18th December 1963 at Shawnee, Oklahoma, USA. Brad Pitt grew up in Springfield, Missouri, as a child. When he was at school he participated in choir and theater. Brad also had a great passion for sports such as tennis and baseball.

But his heart and mind was totally obsessed in the movies. Brad majored in journalism and advertising at the University of Missouri, but he could not complete the final year as he headed for California to catch his dream. Brad did not become a star overnight. To reach a certain level he had to face many difficulties and obstructions.

Brad Pitt started his career as an extra in movies, then getting roles in few TV shows. One of them was 'Dallas'. But he finally made a mark when he was caste as 'J.D.' in 'Thelma & Louise'. Brad Pitt was declared 'The Sexiest Man Alive' after his romantic lead role in 'Legends of the Fall' by the People Magazine. Brad's first Oscar nomination came with his role as a mental patient in '12 Monkeys' where his role was highly appreciated.

Brad Pitt also appeared in 'The Devil's Own' and most of the viewers think his portrayal of Austrian journeyer Heinrich Harrar in 'Seven Years In Tibet' his most outstanding achievement up till now.
