Christina Aguilera

Christina Maria Aguilera was born on December 18, 1980 at Staten Island, New York. She was born to the couple of Jim Aguilera, who works in the military and Shelly Aguilera who is a violinist, pianist and was the president of Christina`s fan club. Her father is of Ecuadoran descent and her mother is Irish-American. She has got two younger sisters Rachel Aguilera, Stephanie Aguilera and two younger brothers Michael Aguilera and Casey Aguilera.

Christina started performing when she was a child. Although she was born in Staten Island she was raised in Wexford, Pennsylvania. In her hometown area Christina sang the national anthem at a variety of events. When she was 9 years old, Christina appeared on Star Search, and returned achieving nothing. After a few years, Aguilera got a role on the Mickey Mouse Club. This was an important moment for her future. There she sang Reflection for the Disney movie Mulan. Later to her excitement she got a nomination for a Golden Globe award in the year 1998. Then Aguilera started working for her debut album with RCA. With the release of the single `Genie in a Bottle` a huge interest among masses was created and almost 500,000 copies were sold. It became the number one album that year. Due to her work she could not see her father Fausto for 12 years until January 2000. According to recent National Enquirer reports Aguilera claimed that she is a victim of domestic violence but her grandfather denies all these reports.

Christina Maria Aguilera is one of the most talented people of the recent years. Christina has already started to work on her next album and also wants to act in near future. After the second album `Regular`, she has recorded a Christmas album in addition to a Spanish version of her current album.

Like Britney, as far as her dating life goes, little is known. Like Britney Spears, Christina is believed to have a crush on MTV`s Carson Daly.

Therefore a rivalry has begun between the two ex-Mouseketeers both musically and also in the sex department.
