Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow was born on 28th of September 1973 at Los Angeles, California, USA to the couple of Bruce Paltrow, a television producer and actress Blythe Danner. She and her family left Los Angeles and went to New York when she was 11 years old.

She got her education from the Spense School and the University of California where she studied art History. Then she became too keen about her acting career and therefore left the university. She got a chance to perform in the Theatre production of 'Picnic' with her mother. She then gave the audition of 'Flesh & Bone' and was selected. After some time she met the handsome Brad Pitt on the set of 'Seven'. They fell in love and this helped Gwyneth gain a huge amount of publicity which helped her to gain many roles. She has given her best in 'Shakespeare in Love' opposite John Fiennes which was directed by John Madden. This film got a huge reception. For this film she won the 'Oscar' in the best actress category.
