Milla Jovovich

Milla Jovovich was born on 17th of December 1975 at Kiev, Ukraine. When she was only five years old, she moved to the United States with her parents. She is such an allrounder which is very difficult to find in life. She is very talented. She is a model, actress and a singer/ songwriter. She has done adds both for televisions and paper. She has worked for larger companies like Calvin Kline and Escape.

She started her acting career when she was nine years old. When she was only 11 she started modelling.

In the year of 1988 she went on to appear in `Two Moon Junction` where she played the character of Samantha. Her next appearance followed in the TV movie `The Night Train to Kathmandu` in the same year in which Milla played `Lily McLeod`, the daughter of two American professors.Later on in that year she appeared for `Paradise`.

Then came `Married..With Children` in 1989 where she played the role of Yvette, `Parker Lewis Can`t Lose` in 1990 and the controversy oriented `Return to the Blue Lagoon` in 1991. At that time she was only 15 years old. Then with age she got more matured and appeared in films like `Kuffs`, `Chaplin` in 1992, `Dazed and Confused` in 1993. Them came a certain lull in her career.

But she returned with a bang in 1993`s `The Fifth Element`. She created havoc in the screen and her supporters went mad. Milla made her next move in director Spike Lee`s `He Got Game` in 1998 and in `The Story of Joan of Arc` in 1999. She was also brilliant in 2000`s `The Million Dollar Hotel` and `The Claim `. Then she made her appearance in `Red America` and in Rob Schmidt`s `American Heroes`.

Above all this she has also released her own album `The Divine Comedy` with allmost all original tracks written and sang by her.

As far her personal life goes she married actor Shawn Andrews in 1993 and also got seperated in that year. Then she married director Luc Besson in December 1997 at Las Vegas and divorced in April 1999. She was also known to have relations with Jeremy Davies and Mario Sorrenti.
