Yasmine Bleeth

Yasmine Bleeth was born on June 14, 1968 at New York. She began her acting career when she was only six months old. She appeared in the Johnson & Johnson baby 'No More Tears' shampoo commercial. When she was six years old she ultimately caught the eye of fashion photographer, Francesco Scavullo when she appeared in a Max Factor campaign. She began her acting career at the age of 12 years when Yasmine featured in a film 'Hey Babe' which also starred Buddy Hackett.

Yasmine continued with both the modeling and acting career while attending the United Nations International School in New York. By that time she was well experienced in the acting field. When Yasmine was 16 years old she began acting in the soap opera 'Ryan's Hope'. She continued this role for four years before she made her appearance for yet another soap 'One Life To Live'. But Yasmine, is probably well known for 'Baywatch' where she played a famous role of Caroline Holden which began in the year 1994. In 1995 she became one of the People magazine's 50 most beautiful people during her three year successful run on the 'Baywatch' show. Her role in Baywatch got her new fans and worldwide fame. Yasmine was also offered roles in made for TV movies including 'The Lake', 'Ultimate Betrayal', 'Road Rage', and 'A Face To Die For'. But she finally appeared in the big screen in movies like 'Basketball' and 'Undercover Angels', although these films did not generate huge public interest.

In the CBS hit show 'Nash Bridges', Yasmine appeared opposite Don Johnson and then worked in Aaron Spelling's night soap opera 'Titans' where she played the role of a vixen.

Year 1992 was a tragic year for Yasmine Bleeth as her mother Cartina, died of breast cancer. This tragedy inspired Yasmine to open her own website www.yasmineonline.com and created awareness against breast cancer.

As far her personal goes Yasmine had a short stint relationship with Matthew Perry. She was also been linked with actor Richard Grieco for a few years.

Presently she resides in Los Angeles.

Yamila Diaz Rahi

Yamila Diaz Rahi was born on 1978 at Buenos Aires, Argentina to a doctor father (Lebanese descent) and a Spanish mother who worked as a home manager. She has two sisters named Maria and Yael. Yamila was an Economics student and had no plans to make her career in modeling. But everything changed suddenly for Yamila when a modeling agency scout noticed her in Buenos Aires. Then she moved to Milan where her modeling career began.

She made a tough beginning as it took her some time to break through. So this exotic charmer had to start by appearing in department store catalogues for several years. But in the year of 1999 an appearance in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Calendar saw her rise from a mere girl to a glamorous model.

The big guns in modeling world like 'Glamour' and 'Cosmopolitan' took notice of her. She was also watched closely by the people at Victoria's Secret. Then Yamila modeled lingerie and also appeared on the cover of many magazines worldwide.

After doing the swimsuit and lingerie modeling stint she also appeared on the covers of 'Marie Claire', the European editions of 'Max', 'GQ' and 'Shape' and 'Elle'(both US and Spain). Yamila then went on to join the beautiful Estella Warren and Laetitia Casta for the 2000 'Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition'.

Then she carried on with her work by appearing as one of the newest 'Cover Girl' models, joining 'Niki Taylor', and later on appeared in ads for 'Replay jeans', Ungaro's 'Fleur de Diva' perfume, and Italian cosmetics 'Bio-Etyc'.

In addition to all this Yamila made an important appearance in an Italian feature film entitled 'Il pesce innamorato' (which meant 'Love of the Fishes'), alongside Italian actor Leonardo Pieraccioni.

She fully appreciates the role of 'lady luck' in her life. In spite of the glamorous life she now leads Yamila has never developed the diva attitude that many models are known for. She fully understands that looks are not going to be enough in the short life span of the models. Therefore this talented South American beauty was attracted towards learning Italian and English and being associated with literature, most importantly Brazilian writers.

Willard Christopher Smith was born on 25th of September 1968 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Will Smith is the son of Caroline and Willard Smith.

Willard Smith Sr. owned a refrigeration company. Christopher grew up in a middleclass family at West Philadelphia. He was nicknamed 'Prince' because of his tremendous quality to face trouble and get out of it in a charming way. As a child he preferred music. Later on at a party he met Jeff Townes. They immediately got together and began to perform as DJ. Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince thus achieving huge success. After the success Smith spent a lot of money on buying jewelry, house and cars. Still Smith was looking for something different. At that point of life he met Benny Medina in the year 1989. Benny wanted Will to appear in a sitcom based on his life in Beverly Hills. Both Will and NBC enjoyed the idea and the result was 'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air'. Will very efficiently portrayed himself as a street smart West Phily child who was moved to Beverly Hills. This series was on air for about 6 years.

At that time, his interests got into movies. In the year 1993, 'Six Degrees of Separation' was released where his work was applauded. Then he appeared in 'Bad Boys' in 1995 which was a action flick. But his most memorable Blockbuster was Independence Day in 1996 which made him hugely popular. Will then played the role of agent J in the movie 'Men In Black' 1997 which also received great response. Then he worked in 'Wild West' which was the remake of the old western classic Wild. Will and his girlfriend Jada Pinkett also worked for 'Love for Hire'.

As far as his personal life goes Will married his girlfriend Jada Pinkett and is living happily.

Vin Diesel

Vin Diesel was born on 18th of July 1967 at New York, New York, USA. At the age of seven he and his friends visited to a Greenwich Village theatre. They got surprised after reaching the theatre when a woman appeared on stage, and offered them a script and $20 each, on the condition that after school they would attend the theatre. It all started from there. By the time he was 17 years old he had a very good physique. So he became a bouncer at some New York’s hippest clubs and changed his name to Vin Diesel.

After finishing high school, Vin started as an English major at Hunter College. But after three years he decided to devote more time towards acting and take it to the next stage. So he opted straight for Hollywood, always thinking that there should be some value given to an experienced theatre actor like him. But he was wrong. After a year of struggle and with no success he returned to New York. Then his mother who is an astrologer/ psychiatrist helped a great deal. She introduced him to a book called 'Feature Films' which was written by Rick Schmidt. Her advice helped Vin immediately.

Vin got more confidence about himself and thought that he could make his own movies. He wrote a script named 'Multi Facial' about his own life experiences, about how he handled every situation before becoming an actor. This film was shot within three days at a cost of $3,000. He acted, directed and also produced this film. To his amazement 'Multi Facial' got a noisy reception in the 1995 Cannes Film Festival.

Vin then returned to Los Angeles. In Los Angeles the combined effort of Vin and his friend raised almost $50,000 through telemarketing so that they could fund the making of Vin's first feature, 'Strays'. The film was shown in the 1997 'Sundance Film Festival'.

It received an encouraging reception at first but the film didn't sell as expected.

Vin got disappointed yet again, but to his surprise received a dream call from his new agent. He found out that Steven Spielberg liked 'Multi Facial' and wanted to meet Vin on the set of Amistad. They combined immediately for Spielberg's next blockbuster, 'Saving Private Ryan'. The role was especially written for him.

Vin's star began to shine brightly all of a sudden. That time, director Brad Bird was looking for someone for the leading role in the animated film 'The Iron Giant'. Coincidentally, Vin's assistant at Sundance, was working for Bird at that time. She gave Bird a copy of Multi Facial which later helped Vin to appear for the role.

Next he appeared as Richard Riddick in the flick 'Pitch Black'. The performance in 'Pitch Black' earned him a lot of devoted fans and the fame and stardom he deserved. Then he starred in 'Boiler Room', 'Knockaround Guys', 'The Fast and The Furious' and 'Diablo'. He is perfectly built for the action movies but he has got those extra qualities that he has already proved.

He is such a man who values his family very much.

Victoria Silvstedt

Victoria Silvstedt was born on 19th September 1974 at Skelleftehamn, Sweden. From her early days she was interested in modelling. She is nearly six feet tall with a good figure and a great smile.

Victoria Silvstedt became the first runner-up when she appeared for the Miss Sweden competetion in 1993. She got focus from there but she really made it big after appearing in Playboy magazine`s December 1996 issue. From that time she became the target of many designers.

Later on in 1997 she became the `1997 Playboy playmate` of the year. Victoria started her career as a professional model but she wanted to achieve more by getting into films. Victoria Beckham was born on 17 April 1974 at Hertfordshire, England, UK to the couple of Jackie and Tony Adams. Her real name is Victoria Caroline Adams.

This 5 feet 6 inches brown eyed beauty is nicknamed Posh Spice and Tori but hates if someones call her Vicky. She was educated from Jason Theatre School and later on attended Laine Arts Theatre College.

Vanessa Angel was born on November 10, 1966 at London, U.K. When she was 16 years of old she was spotted by the well known agent Eileen Ford. From there started her modeling career. Therefore she moved to New York, and appeared in several noted magazine covers like 'Cosmopolitan' and 'Vogue'. In 1985, Vanessa got her opportunity to act in John Landis's film 'Spies Like Us' where she played a Russian spy. She was hugely talented and therefore got accustomed to Russian accent in a short time. Then she appeared in the Paul McCartney video 'Spies Like Us'.

Valeria Mazza was born on February 17, 1972 Rosario, at Santa Fe, Argentina. It was her parents Raul and Monica who convinced her to accept a job, as a model in a fashion show. Actually the person who helped Valeria was a close friend to her parents. Valeria only began modeling in Buenos Aires after she finished her high school. She was at that time busy studying Occupational Therapy but she could not resist the attraction from the world of modeling. She then moved to Paris.

Tyra Banks was born on December 4, 1973 at Los Angeles, California to a very loving and caring family. Traci Lords

Traci Lords was born on 7th May 1968 at Steubenville, Ohio, USA. Her mother was a school teacher. At the age of only 12 her mother moved with her and with her sisters to Redondo Beach. At the age of 18, Lords got admitted at the famed Lee Strasberg Institute. After some time she was caste in a science fiction Roger Corman's feature film 'Not of This Earth'.

But it was the film 'Cry Baby' directed by John Waters which paved a clear path for Lords career. She became a known face amongst renowned directors. She performed the role wonderfully, and was later caste with performers like Johnny Depp, Iggy Pop and Ricki Lake. After this film got to the theaters Lords was offered to make her appearance as a guest star in TV series such as 'MacGyver', 'Wiseguy', 'Superforce', 'Married with Children'.

Her other most important TV works were in 'Profiler', 'Melrose Place' where she played Rikki, a leader and 'Roseanne'.

Lords is also well known for her appearance in TV miniseries 'Stephen King's 'The Tommyknockers'' where she played a woman overtaken by an unknown force.

She was also caste in movies like 'As Good As Dead' and 'Intent to Kill'. Her other feature films include 'Serial Mom', 'Virtuosity', 'A Time to Die', 'The Nutty Nut'. Lords then went on to pose for celebrity calendars and posters, which she also helped in designing. When she has time off from her hectic schedule she enjoys tennis, swimming, hiking and boxing. Traci thinks that these are good ways to stay fit and get a good workout. She also likes gardening and improving on her music.

Sophie Marceau

Sophie Marceau was born on 17th of November 1966 at Paris, France.From her childhood she was obsessed with acting. She also achieved an `International Film Festival` award in the year 1988 for `Chouans`. With `Euridyce` she made her debut on stage and captured a `Moliere award` for the `Most Promising Newcomer`. This followed, with her presence in various French films `FanFan` in 1993, `La Fille de d’Artangnan` in 1994 and `Par-Dela Les Nuages` in 1995.

That moment of life she was hugely popular in France and in Asia but she achieved her American stardom after 15 years of her starting career with her appearance in the Hollywood blockbuster `Braveheart`. Then she followed it with `Marquise`, `Anna Karenina` in 1997, `Firelight` in 1998, `Lost and Found`, William Shakespeare’s `A Midsummer Night’s Dream` and `The World Is Not Enough` in 1999. Sharon Stone was born on 10th of March 1958 at Meadville, Pennsylvania, USA. As a child Sharon was brought up in a large family in Northwest Pennsylvania. She had to struggle very hard, right from her days when she appeared for McDonald's to the successful Ford model in the late 1970s. She appeared in both print ads and TV commercials for Ford.

She returned with a bang in 'Casino' in the year of 1995 where her performance was highly applauded and greeted. This highly paid sexy bombshell then started her own production company, 'Chaos', and signed a deal with Miramax. The next film was a remake of the classic 'Diabolique'.

Shakira

Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll was born on 9th of February 1977 at Barranquilla, Colombia to the couple of a Colombian mother and a Lebanese father.Shakira was hugely influenced by her father who had an Arabic background. Her father was a writer. From her childhood everyone could found out the talent and interest she had towards music. When she was 10 years old she won the local and national talent contests.

At the age of only 13, she went on to make a huge contract with Sony in Colombia. As a result of this her debut album `Magia` was released which contained songs written by her between the ages of 8 and 13.

When `Magia` got released, Shakira captured the hearts of all Colombia and later she was chosen to represent Columbia at the OTI Fesival in Spain. But she was not allowed to participate because at that time she was under 16 years. Therefore Shakira recorded her second album `Peligro`. After that she took a break from her music and concentrated on her studies. She passed her graduation from high school when she was 15 years old. After her return to music she recorded `Pies Descalzos` which became a great hit and sold almost four million copies worldwide. Within a few months of this Shakira was an international figure. She toured for 2 years just playing her songs to audiences, worldwide.

`Pies Descalzos` was so liked by all that it sold more than 900,000 copies only in Brazil alone. Then Shakira recorded remixes for her Brazilian fans in Portuguese. She started her very own style of music which is acombination of pop and rock.

Her style of music resulted in `Donde Estan los Ladrones` which was a collection of several hits.

Shakira then appeared on the cover of Time Magazine with other dozens of female Latin singers in an article named `Era of the Rockera`. Shakira was also made the goodwill ambassador by the Colombian government.

That year in May, she was declared as the Latin Female Artist of the Year at the World Music Awards in Monaco.

Her next ambition is to capture the English market. Shakira is the most outstanding singer/ songwriter in the whole of Latin America and she has already captured the hearts and imagination of her audiences.

Sarah Michelle Gellar

Sarah Michelle Gellar was born on 14th April, 1977 at New York, USA. Her mother Rosellen was a nursery school teacher. Her education started with Professional Children`s School in New York. She got graduated two years early with a 4.0 GPA. Then she went onto Fiorello LaGuardia High School of Music, Art and the Performing Arts in New York and later on to Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in New York.

This dedicated woman has been into performing arts since she was about four years old. She was later discovered by an agent in a restaurant when she was with her mom. Gellar began her journey to fame in `An Invasion of Privacy` in the year of 1983 by playing Valerie Harper’s daughter. Then she grabbed more than 100 commercial which includes some for the Burger King chain, and parts in popular shows like `Spenser: For Hire` within a very short time.

Katie is the youngest of all the family members which consists of three older sisters and an older brother. Her mother was the driving force behind getting her admitted in the Margaret O`Brien`s Modeling School in Toledo. She got her education from the Notre Dame Academy (girls Catholic high school).

Her father did not favour this but Katie was confident and she made her move to Hollywood with her mother.
